Healthcare infrastructure requires a higher standard.
Security is enforced at the platform layer, not treated as a checklist. The controls below describe how KYT OS protects patient information, staff accounts, and clinical workflows.
Patient data is protected in transit, at rest, and in isolation.
Encryption in transit
All traffic between staff devices, patients, and the platform is served over encrypted connections. Insecure fallbacks are disabled.
Encryption at rest
Patient data, backups, and file storage are encrypted at rest using the encryption capabilities of the underlying managed infrastructure.
Isolated healthcare data
Protected health information is stored on a dedicated database, separate from authentication and non-clinical operational data.
Private file storage
Documents, images, and generated artifacts containing patient information are stored in private object storage. Access is issued per request, scoped, and short-lived.
Only the right people, on the right devices, doing the right work.
Managed authentication
Staff sign in through a managed authentication provider with password policies, session management, and account recovery handled at the platform level.
Role-based access controls
Every module and action is gated by a defined role. Staff only see the workflows their role is authorized to perform.
Device-scoped access
Clinical and operational devices are registered to the office they serve. Sensitive workflows are unavailable from unregistered devices.
Automated brute-force protection
Repeated failed sign-in attempts against the same credential are automatically throttled and blocked without operator intervention.
Bot protection at sign-in
Automated challenge protection is applied to the sign-in surface to reject non-human traffic before it reaches authentication.
Multi-factor authentication
Multi-factor authentication is available for staff accounts using verified delivery channels.
Session locking
Idle sessions lock automatically and can be locked on demand. Unlocking requires the staff member's credential on the same device.
What happened, who did it, and when.
Comprehensive audit logging
Changes to protected health data are recorded with the acting user, the affected record, the action taken, and a timestamp. Audit records are retained on a dedicated audit store.
Structured claim snapshots
Insurance claims capture a structured snapshot of the clinical and coverage state used to produce them, so the record that was submitted can always be reconstructed.
Institutional foundations, not a bespoke stack.
Managed cloud infrastructure
KYT OS runs on managed cloud services with the availability, backup, and patching characteristics healthcare workloads require.
Protected production environment
Production access is restricted, credentials are managed centrally, and secrets are never distributed to staff devices or committed to source control.
Application hardening
HTTP responses declare a strict security posture, including transport enforcement, frame denial, content-type protection, and a restrictive referrer and permissions policy.
Scanner and probe handling
Traffic that resembles credential probing, path scanning, or reconnaissance is handled defensively at the platform edge without exposing implementation details.
Built to support HIPAA safeguards.
KYT OS is built to support HIPAA safeguards for regulated healthcare workflows. Access, transmission, storage, and audit controls are designed with the sensitivity of dental patient information in mind.
